Herbert Virella

Herb was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and friend. He always gave of himself unconditionally to all. He had a heart of compassion and would welcome you into his home with open arms. He was not a man of many words, but he spoke with wisdom, kindness, and love. He knew his mission was to love and serve everyone, especially his Savior, family, and friends.

Herb slipped peacefully away to be with his Savior and King on July 25, 2021, at the age of 67. He was born on March 15, 1954, to Heriberto and Irma Virella. Herb was Irma’s “little dancer”. He truly loved dancing and now he is dancing in heaven.   Herb and Elizabeth were married on November 24,1995. They weaved together their children and became a beautiful, blended family.

Herb enjoyed all the sports, but his favorite sport was basketball. He was passionate about it and a real coach to his sons and grandsons.  Herb was a man of many God given talents. Out of all his talents, he was a master at carpentry. He used this talent to build and create a beautiful home for his family and he blessed others as well.

Herb is survived by his wife Elizabeth and sons Kalebh Seth and Gabriel Ian Virella, his daughter Sophia Virella and sons Joseph and Vincent Jankowski, his daughter Melissa and her husband Kyle Hutchins and their daughter Emma Luz, his daughter Lissy and her husband Jesse Rodriguez and their children Lealani and Samuel Garcia, his daughter Érica Serrano and her daughters Leah and Naomi Sosa, his sisters Millie Paetsch and Elba Giraud, and his brother Digno Cesar Giraud.
