Ana Raslau

Ana Raslau, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2021 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. She was born May 6, 1929 in Minisul de Sus, Arad, Romania to the union of Iacob and Rusanda (Voimerestean) Miculit.

Beloved wife of the late Gheorghe Raslau on October 5, 1982. Loving mother of Mircea (Lidia) Raslau. Fond Grandmother of Flavius (Cristina) and David (Janelle), Great Grandmother of Daniel, Hannah, Cecilia, Simon, and Priscilla.

Ana loved the Lord and enjoyed her time catering to her loved ones and gardening. She started cooking for her parents at 12 years old and was a self-taught and gifted cook. On April 10, 1985 she immigrated to the United States to reunite with her family.  

Visitation Saturday, January 23, 2021 9:30 A.M. at Benson Family Funeral Home, 3224 W Montrose Avenue, Chicago, IL Rev. Ovidiu Dobria, officiating.

Graveside service on Saturday, January 23, 2021 12:00 P.M. at Maryhill Cemetery, 8600 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, Illinois.
