Anacleto Mara Mariano, 82, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025. Born in 1942 in Asingan, Pangasinan, Philippines, Anacleto lived a life defined by love, devotion, and unwavering loyalty to those he held dear.
Anacleto was the beloved husband of Mariana Macapagal Mariano, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together, they built a strong and nurturing family, raising four cherished children: Bernardo, Rufino, Bernadette, and Marie-Ann.
He was a proud and loving grandfather to Antonio, Remy, and Sage. Anacleto was also a caring and supportive father-in-law to Michael Muegel and Melissa Mariano, and he welcomed them into the family with warmth and love. His grandchildren brought him immense joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them, offering guidance, warmth, and unconditional love.
Anacleto’s life was centered around his family, and he took immense pride in supporting and guiding his children and grandchildren through every stage of life. His warmth, wisdom, and steadfast presence brought comfort and strength to those who knew him. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his sense of humor, and his deep dedication to his family and friends.
Anacleto’s legacy of love and loyalty will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will be treasured always.
A memorial service will be held at Benson Family Funeral Home to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
Anacleto will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
