Anna Mary Weber (nee Perakis), 89, of Chicago, died Thursday, December 31, 2020. Born in Chicago, she was the daughter of Harold Perakis and Bessie Murle Perakis (Harlan), and the sister of Alice Perakis and Anthony Perakis. She attended Hyde Park High School and went on to study art at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. She married Ralph Edgar Weber on June 25, 1955 and they were married for almost 62 years. Anna worked for many years as an executive secretary downtown in Chicago, the city that she loved. She was an active and devoted member of the United Methodist Church of Albany Park, and later Berry United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband. She is survived by her daughters Pamela Weber of Chicago, Amy Weber (Randy Hughes) of Carbondale, and Lori Weber of Chicago, and her granddaughters Emily, Eleanor and Esther Hughes. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her community, cats, and chocolate. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date, to be determined.
