Corazon Vergara Sampang, beloved wife of Julian Sr. of Chicago U.S.A., went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 26,2025 at the age of 87. Corazon was born on January 26,1938 in Gapan City, Philippines. She was the Eldest of Four children, 2 brothers Modesto and Efren (Angelina Cadang) and a sister Adelina. Her parents are Venancio Vergara and Sagrario Garcia. She has also 8 Half Sisters, Aurea, Paulina, Angelina, Lorenza, Ignacia, Brigida, Maria, Venancia and 2 Half brothers Teofilo and Ambrosio.
Corazon and her family owned a shoe store at the Public Market in Baguio City where she helped her Mother manage the store.Through her efforts and management the store became an instrument of financial provision to her family. She unselfishly sacrificed and supported her siblings to go to school and have a better life. She got married to her hardworking, loving, kind husband Julian Sampang Sr. on June 7, 1959. They celebrated their 65 years of marriage last year. God blessed them with 7 Children, 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren. Children and family members are as follows;
Julian Jr (Doris), Children Johni (Justin) and daughter Reina, Julie (Jan), Richard (Clarissa), Paula (Daryll).

Juanito (Mylene), Children, Fred (Ashley), children Payton and Lincoln, Millie (Steve), Nellie and Lindsay.
Lourdes (Vic), children Jeremiah and Jhanelle.
Joselito (Fe), daughter Julia.
Romeo (Camela), daughter Ashley.
Josephine and partner Emma.
Corazon and Julian Sr. migrated to Guam in 1990 and eventually moved to mainland U.S.A in 1995 and subsequently retired in Chicago IL. Julian Sr. Corazon helped Julian Sr to support the family needs by working part time as a reseller of rice, coconut Jam and other food products. Corazon was a generous, responsible, hardworking, full time hands on Mother and wife who makes sure that cooked food is always in our table and being a reseller on the side as well to augment our family income. By God’s grace Corazon and Julian Sr were able to overcome challenges in taking care of 7 lovely and growing Children. Thanks be to God All their Children finished their school and grew professionally in their respective careers.
On January 22,2025, Corazon was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia and was confined in the Hospital for 63 days. Her journey ended but she fought a courageous battle with illness. She never complained and did not lose hope until her last breath. Corazon is already deeply missed by her immediate family, relatives and friends. She is now rejoicing in the presence of her Creator where she is free of pain and suffering, This is because she already received his complete healing from our Great Physician, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
