Estela Mago Simos

Estela recently passed away on November 10, 2022, at approximately 8:30 P.M. She battled renal (kidney) disease in her last few years and eventually developed cardiac disease. While under hospice care, Estela was visited by her family every day. Despite the numerous hardships she experienced with pain and other physical ailments, Estela lived an extraordinary life of 90 years.

She has three wonderful children with her late husband, Ireneo Elegado Simos: Rebecca (Arnell) Simos Cervantes, Ferdinand (Jennifer) Mago Simos, and Minnie (Manny) Simos De Leon. Estela established herself as a midwife and a nurse, later becoming a caregiver who comforted patients in assisted living. She was loving, supportive, and compassionate to all her peers. Estela devoted her passion to care for her 3 children and 5 grandchildren: Mark, Michael, and Melissa Simos De Leon; and Jericho and Joshua De Guzman Simos.
