Our sweet Jenny Lynn Winegar, born August 28, 1969, unexpectedly passed away on March 18, 2024. She was 54 years old.
Jenny is survived by her loving mother and father, Dorene Kleba and Sam Winegar, and beloved aunt Pamela Kleba. Jenny was also a dear niece and cousin to her Winegar West Virginia family. She is preceded in death by her namesake, her grandma Genevieve McMillion, and her grandfather, Phillip Kleba.
Jenny had countless friends who were drawn to her magnetic personality and generous heart. Many of Jenny’s friends were lifelong, a tribute to how much she was loved and cherished.
Jenny recently lost the love of her life, Chris Strader, who unexpectedly passed away on February 2, 2024. Chris was always at Jenny’s side, in full support of whatever joys and obstacles she faced. They were true life partners.
She adored Nestle and Razzles, the cats that came into her life when she met Chris. Jenny also loved her aunt Pam’s cat Luca, who was her buddy. Those were her “boys” and like everyone else, they adored her right back.
Jenny will forever be a cherished part of our lives. In Jenny’s words, she “put the WIN in Winegar”. Our hearts are broken.
A cremation is being arranged. There will be no funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Lupus Foundation of America.
The family will hold a private gathering in Jenny’s honor at a future date.
