Josif Deak

Josif Deak, born on June 22, 1935, peacefully went home to be with his Lord Jesus on December 22, 2025, at the age of 90.

Josif was preceded in life by his parents, Josif Deak and Rozalia Deak (née Kovacs). He is survived by his devoted wife, Catarina Deak (née Veres), with whom he shared 63 wonderful love filled years of marriage and family life. He was a loving father to his daughters, Katalin (Ken) Root and Jozefina Deak, who were a constant source of pride and joy to him. He is also survived by his brother, Laszlo (Julianna) Deak, nephews Zsolt (Elizabeth) Deak and family, Laszlo (Juliana) Halasz and family and Alex (Ildiko) Veres and family and niece Ilona Fustos and family.

Josif will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his quiet strength, and the values he passed down through generations. He loved his Lord Jesus and his Church family. His life was marked by resilience, loyalty, and deep love for those closest to him. He leaves behind a legacy of family bonds and memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.

He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
