Jurgen Feichtinger, 73, of Chicago, IL passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024.
He will be remembered for his kindness, infectious laugh, love for his family and friends, and his Facebook posts.
Jurgen spent his younger years playing for the Real FC Soccer League where he made many friends for life and traveled with the team. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing and watching sports, a nice cold beer, good German food, and the company of others.
After meeting his future wife Carol in 1978, he knew she was the one the first time he held her. They spent 44 years together raising 2 wonderful children.
Jurgen worked for many years as a Fed Ex courier where his knowledge of getting around Chicago before GPS and love for talking came in handy. He loved meeting new people.
Jurgen is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Rigoni); two children Derek and Stefanie (Raul) Rodriguez, 2 beautiful grandchildren, Charlotte and Dominic whom he lived for, his sister, Karola (Karl) Stutz, and nieces, Debbie (Gerry) Wilkins, Tammy Neumann, and Davina (Sal) Rivera.
Jurgen was preceded in death by his parents, Franz and Katarina Feichtinger and brother, Felix (Ronnie) Neumann.
Jurgen left an everlasting impression on all who met him and he will be greatly missed by his dear family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all that knew and loved him.
He will be missed forever.
