Magdalena Ippach (1934 – 2025)
Magdalena Ippach, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and accomplished professional, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, in Chicago, IL, at the age of 91.
Born on May 7, 1934, Magdalena built a life rooted in dedication—to her family, her work, and her community. Her life was defined by an enduring love; she was the beloved wife of Nikolaus Ippach for 70 years, having married in 1956.
Magdalena had a successful career as a computer programmer, navigating the earliest days of the digital age with skill and precision.
Beyond her professional life, Magdalena was known for her vibrant creativity and her green thumb. She found immense joy in gardening and creating beautiful flower arrangements. Above all, her greatest passion was spending time with her family, whose presence brought her the most profound happiness. She was also an active, dedicated member of the Chicago American Aid Society.
Magdalena’s warmth, resilience, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
