Our beautifully shining Shealyn was tragically killed by a drunk driver while being her typical helpful self, changing a tire on a friend’s car. Shealyn is survived by her father Devan, her brother Rylan, her uncles, Dan and Ric Hamrin, and her loving family across the country. She will be dearly missed by a multitude of friends including her best girls Amaira and Bella. She is preceded in death by her wonderful mother Annie, her loving grandmother Maureen “Mo” Hamrin, her grandfather John “Jack” Hamrin and her uncle Daniel Huntley. All sorely missed, beautiful spirits. Shealyn recently finished school at Schaumburg High School and turned 18 only a few month’s before she was killed. She was looking forward to getting an apartment with Bella and relaxing before deciding how her future would unfold. Tragically she would never get to. She was an amazing artist. Her room was wallpapered with sketches, drawings and little artifacts that were special to her and her friends. Of course, her room, and her appearance was always immaculate. She was planning on honing her already considerable skills in artistic media, tattooing and photography. The light of the world is diminished in the fact that we will never see anymore of her or her work. Shealyn was as close as we will ever get to a perfect person. Always kind, considerate. Gracious and giving. The future needed her. We will always remember her smile, her laugh, her wry, clever sense of humor, and her natural beauty. Shine across the universe Shealyn as you did with us here on Earth. Your mortal body was but a vessel. You will never be forgotten, our sweet Shealyn angel.
