Suzanne Marie Henderson

Suzanne Grieger Henderson, Suzie, age 66,  passed away March 12, 2025 surrounded by her loving friends and family at Swedish Covenant Hospital. 

Suzie was born January 30, 1959 in Waterloo, Iowa. She leaves behind not only a monumental legacy but also a forever lasting impact on those closest to her. 

She is survived by her husband, James Henderson, her two sons, Andy and Ian, her sister and brother-in-law , Sandy and Ron Stamp, her nephews, Mike Stamp, Matt Grieger and Ben Grieger, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jon and Theresa Henderson, her nephews, Eric, Kyle, Garrett, and Alec Henderson, and her beloved dog, Mason and loving cat, Milkshake. 

She is predeceased by her mom, Lois Irene Garrison Grieger Sergeant and father, Richard Joseph Grieger, and a brother, Mike Grieger and in-laws George and Jackie Henderson. 

Suzie graduated Ravenswood Hospital School of Nursing in 1983 and spent her life creating, contributing, and caring for all of those around her. She was an avid quilter, seamstress, baker, gardener, singer, and writer. Her gifted, hand-crafted creations act as proof of her warm, nurturing, selfless nature that she generously shared with her husband, sons, and all those around her. 

Suzie’s legacy is defined by the quality of her friends and the memories she created. She was an objective force of good in this world and she will always be loved, cherished, and remembered.
